Aims & Objectives

Mission Statement

To develop the skills, capacities and capabilities of young people to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.

  • To advance education and relieve unemployment
  • To provide recreational and leisure time activities to improve conditions of life
  • To act as resource and point of contact for young people
  • Provide advice and assistance
  • Organise programme of physical, educational and other activities
  • The volunteers of the organisation act as role models for the young members of the organisation

The organisation’s main objectives are:

  • To promote the development of personal, social, physical and educational potential of young people through programme of sports and other structured activities in order that they may grow to full maturity as responsible citizens and members of society
  • To establish efficient and constructive networking with schools, agencies and other professional bodies
  • To provide information for young people on things such as employment, training courses, further education, sports and cultural activities
  • Organise regular structured football coaching/training and league football for young people
  • Enter local, regional, national and international football competitions so young people experience traveling, meeting people of different backgrounds and communities
  • Organise football tours and non-football related tours and educational visits in the UK and abroad
  • Run after school clubs for young people as a point of contact, to meet people, make friends, play indoor and outdoor games, get advice and guidance
  • Use older service users to act as role models to guide and support young people
  • Organise workshops on drugs, healthy living, careers, and jobs. Sign post young people to relevant support agencies
  • Provide opportunities for young people to volunteer and gain life skills, experience working environments and build confidence.
