The 2012 Olympics Cycle Event 200 days to go!

Cycling event for young people celebrating the run-up to the Olympics

Young people across Tower Hamlets are being invited to cycle and celebrate the 200 days to go to the Olympic Games, with a special cycling visit to the Olympic Park.

On 9 January 2012, there will be just 200 days until the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic games.

To mark this milestone towards the opening ceremony there will be a special young people’s cycle ride from Mile End to the View Tube overlooking the Olympic Park.

If you’re aged 11-19 years old, come along and join us for the special cycling visit. Bikes and safety gear will be provided.

Participants will cycle from Mile End Park to the Olympic Park; enjoy breathtaking views of the Olympic site from the View Tube; have some free refreshments and learn about the youth activities going on during the Olympics before a nice cycle back to Mile End.

Date: 9 January 2012
Time: 5.30pm - 8.30pm
Venue: Urban Adventure Base, 150 Burdett Road, Mile End Park
