The days away are a great experience for the young people who talk about the outings for years to come. For some of them this is the first time they have been away from Tower Hamlets.

Without this opportunity from the charity they may never have gone to these places. It is an excellent team building tool & creates a family bonding with the players.

Day trips are organised for members every quarter, we have been to several live football games. Young people who have never been & may not go again get to experience the live game atmosphere along with the travelling, excitement and enjoy meeting players.These again have educational and development values as young people travel outside of Tower Hamlets, make friends on the trip, improve communication and experience being a minority for the first time.

Newark Youth London organises a residential in the UK or a trip abroad every year. These are educational in nature and supports the development of young people in understanding of other communities and cultures, experiencing rural life and life outside London, living away from home for the first time, learning about themselves, overcoming weaknesses, improving communication, self-esteem and confidence.
